Prior to making the move here, like most of us, I had furniture which I needed to keep or sell. I called Lorraine and sent pictures and she was kind enough to make suggestions just based on the size and style of the old furnishings and her familiarity with my new home. The initial conversation began with an overview of my decor, my favorite pieces and what might be worth moving. Those decisions are never easy but her advice was invaluable. Once here, Lorraine and I met for the first time and our meeting went well. I left with a feeling of confidence. Lorraine is charming and organized, well prepared and very conscientious.

My thoughts for her were rather explicit. I needed someone who could avoid the mistakes that I might make myself and the project needed to be seamless throughout. I wanted my Michigan furniture to be a coherent and lucid part of the project and the new selections to bring in excitement and style. Lorraine read me from the beginning. I have been happy and delighted with every recommendation and all of the furnishings. I was overjoyed with each new piece and saw each piece as part of my personal conception and our mutual vision. The terms for purchasing new items, her design fee and administrative fee are written in detail and explained in the contract.

Lorraine has followed each proposal with an invoice and has been prompt with installations. She has excellent resources and assumes complete responsibility to see that the work is done right without exception. Any minor issues have been resolved to my complete satisfaction and she has earned my trust that the end result will meet my high standard of perfection.
