Objective

Living between three states across the country, our Boston clients with a blended family of ten, plus a few grandchildren, needed a place for everyone to gather. The couple also wanted an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life and eventually settle in as permanent residents.

Solution

LGV wanted the home to convey a casual and relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. Carefully selected pieces were mixed with some of the family’s existing furniture to create comfortable sitting areas throughout the home. Although the open kitchen-living area was one of the highlights for the homeowner, the large island needed to be re-configured to accommodate additional counter seating. LGV selected a soothing blue and cream color palette with warm wood tones to create a elegant master suite.
