Objective

To guide clients through the building selections process for their new, permanent 10,000 sq. ft. home while they remained in residence in Charlotte, NC.

Solution

Lorraine’s vision for the home was to draw the eye into the space through the foyer and toward the seductive views out to the pool, down to the dock and out to the river. She began working with the homeowners months before groundbreaking to make initial selections: brick, mortar and siding for the exterior, plumbing fixtures for 13 different areas with sinks, showers and tubs while choices on cabinetry, decking, pool tile and granite were made in subsequent visits and meetings. The result? An intimate family home that subtly reflects the tastes of its owners while highlighting the natural beauty that surrounds the property.
