DANIEL ISLAND—Situated inthe commercial district on DanielIsland, interior design companyHouse Interiors has rebranded, changing the name to Lorraine GVale, which reflects the name of the business owner. Lorraine knew the name change and redirection of the company was necessary when more commercial projects started coming their way. The change has been in the works since the first of the year, including the launch of their brand new website at the end of March. Lorraine Vale has worked in the design industry for over twenty years, and loves designing and furnishing beautiful spaces in the Charleston area. Her company is a full-service residential, commercial, and hospitality interior design firm capable of expertly designing new construction, renovation, and remodeling projects. Their Daniel Island showroom is a complete resource library containing samples and catalogs of fabrics, furniture, accessories, lighting, rugs, window treatments, and wall coverings.

My husband and I had been married for a couple of years and finally decided that it was time to change our home to better reflect our style and personality. We had no idea where or how to begin and we were both very busy with our jobs. Lorraine and Pam instantly picked up on our style and were incredibly helpful in selecting new wall colors, floor coverings, furniture, fixtures, and other pieces of decor. We could have never done it without their help and would refer them to anyone looking to improve the look of their home.
